The Result of both Journal

Hi there ! Firstly, I hope y'all in a good health and condition in this blessed month, Ramadhan. This post will be going to share about the results of 2 previous Journal which I have reviewed before.

2. Influence of Video Games in Learning, by Ali Saghir

Okay, let's go to the point !!

Before the result, I would like to explain little bit about first journal. So, first journal talking about how video games can affect students in language learning motivation, and applied in school. 

There are categories of students who done in this research, 1. Player 2. Reader and 3. Watcher.

1. Player, who play the games and take the joy of the game without over thinking what its purpose for.

2. Reader, who play the games and learn it from the storyboard of the games, because of its purpose.

3. Watcher, who rarely play the game, but only watch their friends play the game, and sometimes give a walk through to Player.

The result is Watcher who has the biggest growth in language learning motivation, because they not really play the game, but understand what it means and applied into school. Follow up with Reader, and last is Player.

In the second journal, it is not focusing only on games to engage learning, but also to develop their soft skills in any circumstances. Here are the benefits : 

1. Benefits in integrating video games in learning, especially in the lower levels and preschool stage to enhance preparedness of the school.

2. Video games that mostly include role playing tend to enhance the learning abilities of the players.

3. They promote students acquisition of declarative strategies in the learning sessions by playing games.

4. Use of video games attract participation by all individuals across the demographic boundaries.

5. Video games help in sharing, following discussion, giving direction and having dissection on the visual aids.

That's all the results of both Journal, and I hope you all could see in another perspective what games is. While games can entertain us, we can also get some useful stuff by playing it.
